Dr. Woods is a communications expert with a deep background in brand, UI/UX, corporate application design, and systems architecture. He has 40 years of experience in the areas of brand development, marketing, product positioning, and deployment of enterprise applications. This includes developing and overseeing local, national, and global brands in use today. He has overseen the creation of important applications for various markets, including healthcare, analytics, data mining and aggregation, practice management, bulk content indexing (big data), and cataloging.

Early in his professional life, Dr. Woods designed and patented a groundbreaking industrial technology that provides highly accurate liquid level measurement using a combination of ultrasonic & magnetostrictive material measurement. Significant American energy companies purchased this unique technology, and it is in use today. Using this technology, he created a method for detecting, monitoring, and remediating contaminated soil and dangerous chemicals in subsurface environments.

Later in his career, Dr. Woods worked with TRW, SAIC, and a renowned medical school in California to design and implement one of the first Electronic Medical Record Systems, which was later sold to Delphi. He served as the system’s lead architect during this project. He is also the inventor of multiple security patents that are essential to the operation of the Internet.

Dr. Woods’s other technologies are currently used by industry leaders such as Apple Computer (The Apple Learning Interchange, which was consolidated into and became iTunes University in 2010). He also spends a significant time consulting and advising senior management at Microsoft and their subsidiaries on technologies that the world uses on a daily basis.
